Crime Report: Potomac Man Charged with DWI, Eluding Police

Pursuit
A 22-year-old Potomac man is accused of speeding away from police and driving while intoxicated.
According to the Fairfax County Police Department, it started at about 12:35 a.m. Thursday when an officer tried to pull over a driver for a traffic stop. The driver continued and the officer pursued them until Arlington Boulevard near Fairview Park Drive in Falls Church.
The driver got out of the car and was taken into custody, police said. Jonathan Peel was charged with driving while under the influence, speeding to elude police, and the refusal of a breath test.
