Burglary
Someone reportedly forced their way into a Falls Church home, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The incident was reported at 6:25 p.m. on August 24 on the 2200 block of Casemont Drive in Falls Church. It is not clear what was stolen.
 
Burglary
A laptop was reported stolen from a Tyson’s Corner-area home, according to police. The incident was reported at 2:55 p.m. on August 25 on the 1700 block of Gosnell Road in Vienna. There were no signs of forced entry.
 
Burglary
Jewelry was reported stolen from a Falls Church home, police said. The incident was reported at 10:30 p.m. on August 25 from the 7300 block of Gordons Road in Falls Church. There were no signs of forced entry.
 
Assault
A 45-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body while walking in Falls Church, according to police. The incident was reported at 1:25 a.m. on August 29 on the 3100 block of Allen Street in Falls Church.
 
Police said that two men approached the man from behind, assaulted him, and ran away. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
