Assault

A 45-year-old man was assaulted by two men as he was walking home, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The incident took place on August 29 on the 3100 block of Allen Street in Falls Church. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
 
Burglary
Jewelry was reported stolen from a McLean home on September 4 on the 900 block of Dead Run Drive in McLean. Someone forced their way in through a rear door, police said.
