Police: Woman Robs Bank in Tyson's Corner Area

Police are looking for a woman they said robbed two Fairfax County banks in the last month.

The latest robbery occurred in the Tyson's Corner/Vienna area at 11:26 a.m. Saturday at the United Bank on 2071 Chain Bridge Road, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

A woman entered the bank and passed an employee a note demanding money, police said. The teller complied and the suspect fled.

Police believe the same woman may be responsible for a robbery at the Bank of America on July 15 in Chantilly.  

The woman is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 to 170 pounds, and wore a blond wig and a Coach purse.
