Movie Based on D.C. Snipers to Be Released Next Month

A movie based on the D.C.-area sniper attacks of 2002 is set to be released in theaters next month.

Blue Caprice premieres in select theaters on September 13, according to the film’s website. It details the sniper attacks that left 10 dead in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

The film’s name is a reference to the blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice sedan that convicted shooters John Allen Muhammad and John Lee Malvo used during the attacks.
