Events you need to know about today in Tyson's Corner.

  1. Sunny skies are in the forecast with high temperatures at 68 degrees in the day and a low around 50 in the evening, according to the National Weather Service. 
  2. Today is Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, the anniversary of when the Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787.  
  3. The Tyson’s Pimmit Regional Library is hosting a seminar today called Medicare 101. The discussion is at 11 a.m. at the library on 7584 Leesburg Pike. No registration is necessary.
  4. The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority Commission meets today at 6 p.m. at the American Center on 8300 Boone Boulevard in Tyson’s Corner. See this month’s agenda
  5. History buffs: Historic Vienna, Inc. is hosting a lecture by retired diplomat and author Robert F. Dorr at 7:30 p.m. today at Vienna’s Town Hall on 127 Center Street South in Vienna. Dorr will discuss his book “Mission To Tokyo: The American Airmen Who Took the War to the Heart of Japan.”
